Fardin (Mariola candies): revenue growth, Espírito Santo

From six figures to R$1.5M (BRL) a month in revenue. Along the way, the Mariola packaging launch gave the line its best sales month: 1,475 cases.

Challenge

Fardin, the candy manufacturer behind Mariola, has been a Studyu client since its monthly revenue was in the six figures. Sustaining real growth, not a one-time spike, meant rethinking the whole brand: identity, packaging, and online presence. Running ads on top of what already existed wasn't enough.

Solution

A long-term partnership with four services running together: a complete brand strategy, new packaging for the Mariola line and other product lines, a new company website with a product catalog, and ongoing paid media for brand awareness. When the new Mariola packaging hit stores, about 2.9 lb and 3.5 lb (1.3 kg and 1.6 kg), shoppers had to recognize it on the shelf fast. So we ran an Instagram and YouTube launch campaign focused only on the new packaging, built for reach and low-cost video views, and tracked it month by month against cases sold in stores.

What we implemented

01 Complete brand strategy (visual identity)
02 New packaging for the Mariola line and other product lines
03 New company website with a product catalog
04 Ongoing paid media for brand awareness
05 Mariola packaging launch campaign on Instagram and YouTube
06 Monthly tracking of in-store sales by SKU

Campaign metrics

R$1.5M Monthly revenue reached (BRL), up from six figures
1,475 Mariola cases sold in the peak month (July)
R$0.02 Average cost per YouTube view in the launch (BRL)
168K People reached in the region by the launch

Result

From six figures to R$1.5M (BRL) a month in revenue. Along the way, the Mariola packaging launch gave the line its best sales month: 1,475 cases.

Studyu has worked with Fardin since its monthly revenue was still in the six figures. Branding, new packaging, a new website, and brand awareness ads worked together over time until revenue settled above R$1.5M (BRL) a month. The Mariola launch is one chapter of that story. From April to June, the line sold an average of 466 to 679 cases a month. In July, with the launch campaign live, it sold 1,475. We treat that jump as a strong correlation, not proven causation, because a packaging launch also drives extra sales effort in stores on its own.
