Privacy Policy

This page explains what information Studyu Marketing LTDA ("Studyu", "we", "us") collects through the English version of our website, studyu.com.br/en, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Studyu is a company based in Brazil, so we handle personal information under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (Law No. 13,709/2018, the "LGPD").

Who is responsible for your information

The data controller is STUDYU MARKETING LTDA, CNPJ (Brazilian company registration) 36.002.007/0001-90. For any privacy question, including reaching the person in charge of data protection, email [email protected].

Information we collect

What you submit through the free marketing audit form

Your first and last name, business email, mobile phone number, company name, company website (optional), industry, monthly marketing budget range, the services you're interested in (optional), when you'd like to get started, anything you choose to write in the message field, and whether you checked the optional box to receive text messages.

When you submit the form, your request is sent to Studyu's own CRM, where it is recorded, and a copy is emailed to [email protected] through Web3Forms, a form-to-email service. If you arrived through an ad or a tagged link, the campaign parameters in the page address (such as utm_source or gclid) are recorded with your request.

Email and phone conversations

After you submit the form, a Studyu strategist follows up by email or phone. What you send us by email is also kept so we can continue the conversation.

Website usage data

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, how people use the site: pages visited, where the visit came from, approximate device and browser type, approximate location (city) and clicks on buttons and forms. This is collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies.

How we use it

  • To respond to your audit request and contact you by email or phone (and by text message, only if you opted in).
  • To prepare your audit and a proposal and, if you become a client, to deliver the services you hire us for.
  • To measure how the site and our campaigns perform, and to improve what isn't clear.
  • To meet legal, accounting and tax obligations.

Under the LGPD, the legal bases are steps you requested before entering into a contract (art. 7, V), our legitimate interest in measuring and improving the site (art. 7, IX) and compliance with legal obligations (art. 7, II). We don't sell your information, and we don't use form data for automated decision-making or profiling.

Who we share it with

Only with the service providers that keep the site and our follow-up running, each under its own privacy terms:

  • Studyu's own CRM, where your request is recorded.
  • Web3Forms, which delivers the email copy of your request to our inbox.
  • Google Analytics (Google), for website usage data: Google's privacy policy.
  • Our website host (Hostinger).

Text messages (SMS)

The form includes an optional checkbox to receive text messages. It's unchecked by default, and you don't have to check it to request an audit or to work with us.

  • Consent. If you check the box, you agree to receive text messages from Studyu Marketing about your inquiry at the mobile number you provided. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
  • Frequency. Message frequency varies with your inquiry.
  • Rates. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
  • Opting out and help. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, and we'll stop texting you. Reply HELP for help, or email [email protected].
  • Sharing. We don't share your mobile number or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes.
  • No sale of opt-in data. We don't sell, rent, or trade text messaging opt-in data or consent.

Cookies

The site sets analytics cookies through Google Analytics (names starting with _ga), used only to measure how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site keeps working.

Data retention

We keep the information from your audit request while a sales conversation is ongoing and, if you become a client, for the length of our contract and for as long as the law requires. If we don't end up working together, you can ask us to delete it at any time.

Your rights

Under the LGPD (art. 18), you can ask us to confirm whether we process your information, and request access, correction, anonymization, blocking or deletion, portability, information about who we share it with, and withdrawal of consent where consent is the basis. Depending on where you live, local law may give you similar rights. To make any request, email [email protected]. We won't discriminate against you for making a request. If you believe your rights were not respected, you can also contact Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).

Security

The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to our CRM is restricted to the Studyu team. No system is completely immune to failure; if an incident puts you at risk, we will let you know.

Children's privacy

This site is intended for business owners, not children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

International visitors

Studyu is based in Brazil. Information you submit may be processed in Brazil and in other countries where our service providers operate.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, we update the "last updated" date at the top of this page.
